Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

.3 L draft. Heavy roasted malt nose along with the standard German hop scent. Creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Labor is wavy roasted malt, coffee, caramel. Very enjoyable but very heavy. Great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

08-10-2015. 33cl bottle at home. Appearance is dark, bright with a frothy lasting head. Aroma is malt, liquorice. Taste is complex, well balanced. Full bodied, a nice balance between sweet and bitter in the long finish. Overall a very good beer, very much taste (especially given the low ABV).

330 bottle. Love the goat that’s included! Give this beer a few extra points for it. Not very strong smell, and it’s basically very plain, not what expected at all. Good looking fermentation dark beer with creamy white head. Taste is toasted and very good! The ending feels great has well, but you must drink a little to notice all the different flavours in it. A good beer, but for all it’s fame and awards, I must say i was a little dissapointed.

Ayinger. How I’ve missed you. And how I’ve looked forward to meeting Celebrator. What’s with the excessively formal language? I guess this is what German beer does to me. Pouring dark brown with an off-white head, Celebrator looks like a perfectly photogenic Doppelbock. It smells like caramel, malt sugar, and toasted malt. Flavor is complex, malt-forward, and dessert-like. Brown sugar, dark fruit, and subtle cocoa. Thanks to the velvet-smooth feel, the latter flavor element made me think of cake. Seems damn fitting if you ask me. Cake and beer are celebration staples. And this brew is good enough to somehow embody both.

Draught at Les Berthom V, Lyon. Dark and almost impenetrable brown. Large tan head which quickly dissipates to normal levels. Molasses, crime brûlée in the heady and sensual aroma. Taste is intensely sweet without being sickly. A slight hop bitterness keeps it from going over the edge. Gooey palate, maybe slightly too carbonated. A great beer.

Extra allt helt i linje med vad som förväntas i klassen. Funkar till julmaten kanske?
