Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Di un colore marrone con sfumature mogano, malto in evidenza nella prima parte della bevuta, molto ben bilanciato con una luppolatura secca e ed finale leggermente affumicato....nonostante la gradazione alcoolica l’alcool è molto ben nascosto.

Dark brow almost black, clear, light brown foam. Aroma; sweet malts, toffee, light touch of dark fruit. Mouth; Medium body with nice carbonation, somewhat creamy. Very nice balanced beer with tastes that combines light touches of chocolate, roastiness, some liquorice, sweet fruits. Alcohol very well hidden. A Masterpiece of beer!

Flaska från SB. Mörkt brunröd med mycket ljusbrunt skum. Doft av malt och karamell. Smak av choklad och karamell med trevlig beska.

Smell: molasses, chocolate, prunes, hint of smoke. Taste: smooth mouth feel, blackberries, caramel. Finish: coffee, fruity esters, light hoppy bitterness, ashy. (no date on bottle, probably ~2015, tasted 04/03/16)

Aroma has bread and coffee in it, also reminds me of Finnish "mämmi". Really dark color, almost no head. Quite sweet taste which I am not fond of. Palate is fizzy and lively, finish is long and lightly bitter. Overall, quite good experience.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Deep dark Brown/red with a bit beige head. Aroma of mixed malts, toffee, chocolate, hints of mocca. Taste is a bit rosted, coffee, dark dried fruits, chocolate. A nice sweet bitterness, especially in the aftertaste. Fantastic!

A lot of roasted malt and caramel, but no traces of fruitiness. The finish is way more bitter than expected. Some smokyness too. It reminded more of an english beer (I’d say a stout) that a german one, but I’m pretty sure that mine was an unlucky bottle as the beer had neither the aroma nor the taste as strong or complex as I read almost everywhere. Wiil try again.

Dark brown/black pour with a dark tan 2 finger head. Dissipates quickly with minimal lacing. Notable mocha/coffee, malty taste. Perfect amount of bitterness to finish. Would love another!
