Pours dark with a beige head that disapates quickly. Slight sweetness to the nose. Taste the sweetness and the bitterness both in the mouth. Has a nice kick on the swallow which stays with you in a pleasant way. Nice doppelbock. Have had before and will again.

Wow! My first double bock. Creamy, nice head that lingers. Thick body, but not too strong. Definitely will have again.

Dark body. Aromas and flavours of bready malts, grains, cereals. The swallow has a real bready taste, like brown and rye bread crossed. Very nice Double Bock.

Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging.

Bottle bbe 06/2016. Roasty, malty, caramelly, nutty (hazelnut, walnut) aromas and taste with a hint of honey. Wow! This one is really surprising. I recently had a Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar and the Celebrator seems to be like a role model beyond reach. Totally naturally feeling aroma and taste, not too sweet, nicely carbonated and a nice slick but slightly creamy mouthfeel. Compared to other Doppelbocks I had the Celebrator is subtle in sweetness making it more balanced with the roasty aroma/taste. Just great!
