COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours dark with a beige head that disapates quickly. Slight sweetness to the nose. Taste the sweetness and the bitterness both in the mouth. Has a nice kick on the swallow which stays with you in a pleasant way. Nice doppelbock. Have had before and will again.

Bottle at home. Dark brown colour with a small brown microfoam. Nose is roasted malts, some overdone caramel, very slight booze. Taste is medium bitterness. Notes of nut and cocoa. Wow. Lovely doppelbock.

Wow! My first double bock. Creamy, nice head that lingers. Thick body, but not too strong. Definitely will have again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. This was a nice one but would love to try this one again. Lots of nice roasted hints, sweet, even some light smoke.

Dark body. Aromas and flavours of bready malts, grains, cereals. The swallow has a real bready taste, like brown and rye bread crossed. Very nice Double Bock.

Malty and powerful but not liquory, and a little hint of flowers and hops. Drinkable.

Bottle bbe 06/2016. Roasty, malty, caramelly, nutty (hazelnut, walnut) aromas and taste with a hint of honey. Wow! This one is really surprising. I recently had a Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar and the Celebrator seems to be like a role model beyond reach. Totally naturally feeling aroma and taste, not too sweet, nicely carbonated and a nice slick but slightly creamy mouthfeel. Compared to other Doppelbocks I had the Celebrator is subtle in sweetness making it more balanced with the roasty aroma/taste. Just great!

12oz bottle from the Malt Shoppe in Tosa. Dark brown pour with little head. Caramel. Tangy fruit. Some smoke. Chocolate malts. Somewhat spicy and bready with a touch of light lemon. Hard to beat for style! 14.7
