Very malty and molasses nose. Flavor is a burst of aching nostalgia for me, remembering the dark, sweat, home made bread my grandma made on our North Dakota farm. Great lingering finish.

Dark brown, clear, ruby highlights. Tan head with light retention
Rich malty sweetness with bready, toasty notes. A bit of bitterness to support the long malty finish
Medium body, medium-high carbonation, prickly
Nice doppelbock, the molasses seems out of place as does the prickly carbonation
