Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Appearance- dark, dark, dark mocha/mahogany brown. Big, tan, frothy long lasting head. Very little lacing (if any). Smell- nutty, chocolate, ginger, caramel. Taste- deep dark chocolate (very much like high % cacao), fig, coffee. Sweetness up front, bitter on the back. Mouthfeel- smooth, silky, medium body. Overall- outstanding! Excellent! A great Dopplebock. Would absolutely recommend. Cheers!

Pours black with a beautiful tan head of medium lifetime. A dark amber hue shines through when held against the light. The nose is brimming with notes of dark cane sugar, caramel, nuts, and butteriness. Surprisingly, the roastiness of this beer doesn’t come off as strong until it makes its appearance on the mid-palate following the not-too-sweet maltose front. It then stays, in form of a gentle coffee note, well into the dry finish. Medium carbonation and a full body combined with a slightly astringent tannic quality make the mouthfeel pleasant. A refined brew with a big yet down-to-earth flavor.

Completely black, can’t even see red hue when light is behind the glass. Small to medium sized off-white head. Roasted malts, chocolate and coffee aroma. A bit smoked. Some sweetness, some bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation, kind of creamy. Well balanced.
