Sweet and malty, slight hops in the finnish, yeast... To be honest this bored the life out of me despite the warm weather that is required for this kind of stuff to work...

Draught at Gastropub Jalo, Jyväskylä. Slightly hazy pale gold color with small head. Sweetish and very malty aroma. Malty, grainy and honeyish flavor with low bitterness and creamy mouthfeel. Good maltiness but not much else. Surprisingly simple beer from a great brewery.

in the bottle, thanks to hurrisnow. a chill-hazed straw colored gold with a thin white head. very grainy with a slight sulphur to the nose. crisp, clean in body. this is a warm-weather beer. it has a really nice yeasty grainy taste. it reminds me of chewing on barley husks. I would best describe it as a maibock without the bock. the finish has lemons.

Pours light yellow colour with a small head. Sweetish, malty taste with notes of yeast, fruits, grass and spices. A nice bunch of hops. Has some bitterness too. Refreshing.

esox (862) - Oulu, FINLAND - MAY 11, 2008
Tapped. Minimal white head, some lace. Very blond yellow, slightly cloudy. Aromas are yeasty malts with spicy fruitness. Odour has almost faint lambic-like yeasty and malty notes. Also some bitterness in the finish. Flavor is a bit sour and has sweeter malt elements in the finish. Lively carbonation and medium body. Very well balanced and delicious beer with faint but diverse aromas and pleasant palate. I’ve always liked Ayinger beers but this was still a positive surprise.

Bottled. A pale golden beer with a medium white head, that disappears quickly. The aroma has malty, braedy and fruty notes with some banana. The flavour is sweet, maybe too much, with a modest hoppiness and some fruity notes. Medium body and quite long sweet aftertaste. Decent and drinkable but Ayinger can do much better.

Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 7, 2007
The Brauereigasthof in Aying had still got this seasonal beer left on tap when we visited their biergarten in the middle of June. The 500ml was served in a special frühlings glass and the pour gave a vague aroma of citric fruits. The appearance was slightly hazy golden under filmy layer. The taste was refreshing with moderate hints of sweet oranges supported by a touch of grapefruit in a short finish (17.06.2007).
