Bottle. Pours a light golden with a medium, white head. Aroma is grassy and herbal hops with some breadiness. Taste is breadiness, grassiness, lemon, tones of honey. A lemony and grassy finish. Palate is medium-, very easily drinkable.

Wohlschmeckendes Export. Ich bin angetan.

500ml bottle with the seasonal Ayinger cap. Best by: 10/11. It pours a hazy whitesh gold, much like a Berlinner Weisse or witbier. The head is white and fluffy but leaves no lacing. It smells really fresh and inviting. It is lightly bready with some honey sweetness, lightly fruity, with a springy hop note. The flavor is a bit tart. It is lemony and fruity with a slight bit of hop bitterness. The finish has some earthy fruitiness. Overall it seems to just wisps across the tongue. It isn’t light Per se but the mouthfeel is very smooth velvety. It is a good pick for a spring or summer beer for sure.

Test vom 19.4.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,12,12,12,13,12

bottle from Orterer Bad Tölz. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Malty base with sublime yeast flavours and some very nice grassy-floral hops. Light and pleasant, an ideal beer for a sunny spring day.

when poured, gives a nice "hoppy golden ale" texture. surprisingly thick and hazy. aroma is very grassy and lagerish, so doesn’t give much there. The taste is surprisingly full of fruit and herbs, did not expect that. A thin palate, with not much presence, but works nicely with the flavours. An easy start that gives the light flavours room to explore. A light fruity tastefull herb lager, that forces me to take notice, and I have to say that I was surprised of what it could offer.

Bottle from Alko. Very hazy, very light yellow beer, white head. Grainy malty aroma, some grassy hops aswell. This easy drinking beer tastes decently malty, very one dimensional. Medium bodied. Not my favourite kind of lager beer.
