Very drinkable... but although I’ve never had it before, I felt like I’d tried it 100 times. Nothing too special, but it would be a good session beer. Light and smooth.

pivnizub (8750) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2006
Bottle: Clear, golden coloured, mid-sized fluffy head, slowly vanishing; pale malty to grainy nose, a bit cardboardy and also hoppy aroma; moderate sweetish (grainy) bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; distinctive bitterness in the slightly sweetish-grainy finish. Better than an average bavarian Helles..................

Draught at the bräuhaus in München. Pale yellow colour with a big white head. Grassy, hay aroma and a dry hay, grassy, bitter taste. Medium body with a light dry finish.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2006 A half-Maß on tap in Munich. Golden color with a firm head, very smooth, not thin. Light fruity finish, somewhat more bitter at the bottom of the glass. Very pleased with this one, went well with dinner, but Munich has better to offer.

Yellow. Slightly hazy. Malty aroma with hints of raspberry carried on to the flavour. Medium body. Well balanced.

Bottled. Hazy golden, rich firm head. Aroma of apples and raspberries hiding a little of the rich, soft buttery malt character. Lightly grassy with medium body, soft mouthfeel and medium bitterness. The cellary fruitiness seem out of place.

A yellow beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of hops as well as grass. An OK Helles.
