EithCubes (3336) - GERMANY - DEC 29, 2005
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2006 A half-Maß on tap in Munich. Golden color with a firm head, very smooth, not thin. Light fruity finish, somewhat more bitter at the bottom of the glass. Very pleased with this one, went well with dinner, but Munich has better to offer.

Yellow. Slightly hazy. Malty aroma with hints of raspberry carried on to the flavour. Medium body. Well balanced.

Bottled. Hazy golden, rich firm head. Aroma of apples and raspberries hiding a little of the rich, soft buttery malt character. Lightly grassy with medium body, soft mouthfeel and medium bitterness. The cellary fruitiness seem out of place.

A yellow beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of hops as well as grass. An OK Helles.

Pale yellow, thick white diminishing head. Malty, herbal nose. Malty flavour as well with hints of hay. Quite refreshing. short aftertaste.

Bottled. Pale golden colour. Big head, which leaves some lace. Grassy, slightly malty and hoppy aroma. Quite hoppy and bitter taste with malty, sweet notes. Medium dry finish. A great helles of the hoppier variety, but nothing spectacular. Thanks to joss for this one.

(Bottle). Pilsener-like golden helles, decent head. A tad more malty than the average pilsener, probably more hops than the average helles, otherwise this is just a decent pils to me. Nothing wrong with it, but this style rarely gives me an orgasmic drinking experience.

Beautiful golden. Slight gras aroma, fullbodied and with good bitternes as opposed to the many malty sweet helles in bavaria.

Pilsener like brew from Aying. Bit more sweet than the usual pilseners.
