Pours a hazy looking golden color with medium white head. Smells of malts, yeast and hops. At first, it’s good - but nothing special. And then as you continue to drink it, you start to think about how everything feels just right. Mouthfeel, balance, aroma.... everything is just right. Thin body with medium carbonation. Taste of malts, yeast, hops, spices. A bit grassy with a hint of caramel to it. Lovely balance all over. Overall, very good.

Draft at the source. Hazy golden yellow collor, big fluffy white head with good retention. Aroma of creamy lemon, hay. Taste has white pepper, straw, lemon, bread dough. Nice.

On tap at Munich brewpub. A very cloudy yellow with a thick, creamy and resilient white head. Aroma is cereals, lemon, fresh mint. Flavor is grains, pale malt, pepper, menthol. Finish is lemon, some herbs. Lingering mint, lemon and cereal. Light body, average carbonation.

Harmless yellow color with foam layer. A malty and equally hoppy nose. Despite the harmless look, this beer has a light aggressive mouth feeling but has a lot of character and is nicely balanced between hops and malt, without being round or calm in any way.

Bottle. Slightly hazy, pale yellow color, small white head. Weak aroma, very grassy, hoppy. Light sweet taste. medium to low bitter. Thin texture, low carbonation. Soapy aftertaste, also light malt. Not my kind of Kellerbier, not very enjoyable, too grassy and soapy.

Smager af citrusfrugter, og har en frisk smag af halm/korn. Den har en lille smule syrlighed i eftersmagen.

Pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is a bit yeasty, herbal, floral, some old world hops. Taste is like an unfiltered Helles, some earthy hops, but something special in there. It’s hard to describe, maybe vanilla? Toasted malts? Silky mouthfeel, very pleasant aftertaste. Ayinger quality! Good one.
