COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formally called Kirta-Halbe. In October, each year we celebrate Kirta-Halbe. 1999 was a very special year because we opened our handsome new brewery and Beer Adventure on October 15, one day before Kirta-Halbe. Our Ayinger Kirta-Halbe label, by Dieter Hanitzsch shows Bavarian Minister President Dr. Edmund Stoiber with our own Bräu von Aying, Franz Inselkammer in front of the new brewery. For the opening, Mr. Stoiber addressed more than 1000 friends, customers and community leaders .

Tap@5p. Amber orange, light hazy. Malty dry fruity nose. Some dried orange, earthy malty, quite clean though. Med bodied, flavourful, malty slight huskey. Dry toffee, light syrup. Ok malty german beer. Well made, feels traditional, pure etc.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2016 At the Bräustüberl. Hazy amber-copper color with a thick creamy white head. Aroma is caramel, spicy, "herb". Reminds me of the smell of my grandfather?s stoneware when I was a kid and only smelled the beer. Taste is caramel, grains, it stays mild and creamy, but with a proper bitterness. A challenging Oktoberfest Beer. Way more interesting than HB or Hacker (also: unfiltered, that?s where the creamy mouthfeel comes from).

Herber, mild würziger Antrunk. Diese steigt deutlich an, die Malzigkeit bleibt dabei gering. Karamelliger Mittelteil mit herbem Hintergrund, süffig. 10/9/9/10//9

Nice colour, higher carbonization. The taste is mild, very drinkable but also nit distinctive and not very special. Overall, not bad but also far from best.

A bit hazy copper color, medium sized off-white head, disappeared quickly. Very mild aroma of caramel. Some malty sweetness. Easy to drink. OK.
