Formally called Kirta-Halbe. In October, each year we celebrate Kirta-Halbe. 1999 was a very special year because we opened our handsome new brewery and Beer Adventure on October 15, one day before Kirta-Halbe. Our Ayinger Kirta-Halbe label, by Dieter Hanitzsch shows Bavarian Minister President Dr. Edmund Stoiber with our own Bräu von Aying, Franz Inselkammer in front of the new brewery. For the opening, Mr. Stoiber addressed more than 1000 friends, customers and community leaders .

Draught at Taphouse. Low fluffy white quickly disappearing head. Hazy amber body. Sweet fruity alcohol dominated malt caramel aroma and flavor with hints of almonds and a suitable amount of hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish.

Saeglopur (1435) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - OCT 1, 2014
Draught at Ayingers Speis & Trank, Munich. Dark copper, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, beige head, that dissipates quickly. Aroma of caramel, bread, grains, grass, roast, honey, some fruity hops, slight spices. Taste is about the same. Mouthfeel is light, slick, with a lively carbonation and it finishes grainy and sweet malty, slightly roasty. Very good! A pretty above average Märzen, more in the traditional style, with full, caramelic malts. Very well balanced and with the distinct smoothness many Ayinger beers are offering, while being very fresh.
