COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In October, each year we celebrate Kirta-Halbe. 1999 was a very special year because we opened our handsome new brewery and Beer Adventure on October 15, one day before Kirta-Halbe. Our Ayinger Kirta-Halbe label, by Dieter Hanitzsch shows Bavarian Minister President Dr. Edmund Stoiber with our own Bräu von Aying, Franz Inselkammer in front of the new brewery. For the opening, Mr. Stoiber addressed more than 1000 friends, customers and community leaders .

Bottle, thanks Ayinger provider Hirigalzkar. Pours redish amber with a cream white head. Aroma of sponge cake and fallen leaves. Malty taste, kandi sugar finishes with a fruity bitterness and slightly burnt white bread.

50 cl bottle as "Ayinger Kirtabier". BBE 05/2013.
Pours slightly hazy golden color with a medium-sized head. Aroma has some stuffy fruits, earth, nuts, fruity malts, some yeast and a bit of caramel. Flavor of fruits, malts and hay, faint nutty notes and caramel on the flavor as well. Bitter and dry palate lead to a long, grassy and bitter finish. Decent oktoberfest, but slightly too stuffy for my taste.

50cl bottle from Alko. Poured amber w. a steady white head. Malty, biscuity aroma, but also some berry-like notes. Flavor has bready malt, hops, light alcohol. Drinkable, but alcohol coming through too much.

A beautiful, reddish beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma of smooth malts, toffee, hint of berries and of smoke. Nice aroma, but it’s difficult to get out aromas. Taste is malty and bready, hint of roastiness and smoke, aftertaste is nicely dry. Medium bodied, nice to drink. High-quality and enjoyable beer again from Ayinger.

mile (2857) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 18, 2012
Bottle. Light amber, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and some bread. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some bread. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, light caramel and some bread with faint hoppyness. Too sweet/too much bread - lacks almost totally the bitterness.

500 ml bottle as Ayinger Kirtabier. L2233. BB 05/13. (Alko) Kuopio, Finland.
Hazy red brown colour with big fluffy off-white head. Malty aroma with some sweet, yeast and earth notes. Flavour is mild hoppy bitterness, some sweetness, earthy malt and touch of alcohol. Quite warming. Not bad.

Orange/red/brown wierd but good looking colour. Best thing about this beer though, aroma was ok , but the taste was just caramel sweetness and nothing more, next beer plz.

Marstonlad (391) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 15, 2012
Pours hazy amber with a head that fades away compeletely really quickly. Aroma has lots of malts in it - hay, bread - and a touch of toffee. Taste is full of bready maltiness; not much else is in it. Dryish herbal notes appear in the aftertaste and balance a little, but malts are dominant. Light to medium bodied, slick, easy to drink. Simple but not bad.

Pours copper with white head. Aroma of toffee and loads of malt. Flavour of malt and herbal hops. Rather simple but good.
