We brew Leichte Bräu -Weisse with the same high quality malt and hops as we use in Ayinger Bräu Weiss, just less of them. Our goal is to brew a beer with the delicious fruity wheat beer taste and low alcohol.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2015 At Ayingers am Platzl. Hazy orange color with white head. Yeasty, spicy, bananas. Solid complexity for a Leichte Weisse and not watered down. Very refreshing and light still. A great Leichte Weisse.

8.8°P. 50 cl bottle in Aying. Cloudy orange color, enormous expansive owwhite head, lots of sediment, minimal lacing. Aroma of weizen malts, apple, yeast with some lemon. Taste is flat. Carbonated, light body, dry finish. It’s a pity this one cannot match the regular brauweisse but i think in the low-alcohol range it deserves a good place.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, 20150531) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and hint of grass. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were fruitines, clove, malts, sweetness and low bitterness. Aftertaste wad sweet, mildly spicy and bitter. Aroma was weak but the taste was surprisingly strong and good.

Fantastisk vit skumkrona. Ton av banan doft & vete. Mest blaskig lager doft. Fantastisk krispig Knäckighet i smaken. Knäckebröd de luxe! Underbart för en så lätt öl alkoholmissägt. Blir dock lite för blaskig i eftermsmaken. Malten räddar ölen på gränsen. Tyvärr behövs mer alkohol. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jälkimaku on varsin epämiellyttävä.

Flaska@NK Ölbar. Doft av säd, gräs och lite banan. Smak av gräs och gröna grönskar. Len munkänsla med ett torrt avslut.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy orange with a lovely head. Nose - light banana and cream but going down the sour side. Maybe buttermilk. Taste - creamy yoghurt and buttermilk with a banana note. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - decent considering the light alcohol.

Somewhat hazy golden body, modest white tight head, confused fields of lacings. Aroma; bread, citrus notes, dough, hints from banana, floral spices. Taste; mild floral hops, dough, mild citrus notes, coriander, clove, and finishes with dough, bread, hay. Mild and a bit watery on palate, with normal carbonation. Overall; easy thirstquencher. [50cl brown bottle, abv3.2%, BB4041.10.14, B@K Skanssi Turku]
