We brew Leichte Bräu -Weisse with the same high quality malt and hops as we use in Ayinger Bräu Weiss, just less of them. Our goal is to brew a beer with the delicious fruity wheat beer taste and low alcohol.

500ml bottle at home. Hazy dark orange color, big white pillowy head. Average carbonation. Aroma of banana and fruits, wheat malts. Light sweetness, light to medium bitterness. Endings is nice, thus it would be nice for it to be longer.

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Wheaty and mildly grainy malty aroma with notes of banana and a whiff of vanilla and phenolic spices. Slightly sweet and delicately sour flavour, light bodied with an almost creamy carbonation. Soft malty base with present wheaty notes, banana, also mildly hoppy accents, especially towards the sweet and slightly sour finish. Well-made lighter Weizen. 02.II.16

A moderately hazy, quite dark orange nody with a thick, well lasting white head. Nose has mild banana, cloves and wheat. Mild neutral flavor with a soft, short mildly bitter finish. Lively carbonation and light palate. Quite nice for the low ABV but the mouthfeel is a bit too thin.

Bottle from ICA Värtahamnen in Stockholm. Light fruity smell. Light taste as well but I get some light foam banana in the taste. A light weisse but its well made and very drinkable. Nice low ABV beer.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2015 At Ayingers am Platzl. Hazy orange color with white head. Yeasty, spicy, bananas. Solid complexity for a Leichte Weisse and not watered down. Very refreshing and light still. A great Leichte Weisse.

8.8°P. 50 cl bottle in Aying. Cloudy orange color, enormous expansive owwhite head, lots of sediment, minimal lacing. Aroma of weizen malts, apple, yeast with some lemon. Taste is flat. Carbonated, light body, dry finish. It’s a pity this one cannot match the regular brauweisse but i think in the low-alcohol range it deserves a good place.

Flavours were fruitines, clove, malts, sweetness and low bitterness. Aftertaste wad sweet, mildly spicy and bitter. Aroma was weak but the taste was surprisingly strong and good.
