Pours pale golden with a fine, frothy white head. Aroma is powerful, good hay-like maltiness and powerful grassy hops. Wonderful crisp mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasingly malty, very chewy. Good, powerful, grassy bitterness. Wonderful example of the style.

Draught at their tap. Hazy golden colour, big stable rocky white head. Fine aromatic hoppiness, also dusty. The flavour also has a subtly aroma hop note, refreshingly grassy and slightly dusty. Low carbonation.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JoeinEscazú (1324) - San Jose, COSTA RICA - APR 20, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2009 I say, a nice beer after mowing the lawn. My wife says, yeah, like you’ve mowed a lawn in the past 10 years. Fair enough. Half-liter bottle pours a clear, bright gold with thin, white head. Smells fresh and grassy with some malty corny notes. Flavor is crisp, grassy and bitter, again with the faint corn notes. A bit dry. Quenching.
