I find this beer to be fairly light and refreshing, with no real aftertaste. Overall, I quite enjoyed it.

Tap at ayinger Munich. Pours medium yellow. Aroma of malt, grain and bread. Malty taste with some low sweet and bitterness. Not overly memorable but ok.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thick white head. High carbonation. Aromas of lemon, sherbet, faint sugary note. Taste is light sweet, more lemon. Sweet finish.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - steady bubbles, golden amber, with a nice fluffy had. A bit lively looking. Nose - lemon, cooked vegetables. Taste - creamy lemon, lemon pith on the end. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - there’s a hint of something unintentional on the yeast side, but it’s still very pleasant.

Hazy yellow with minimal white head. Aroma is candy, sugar, grassy hops. Whole aroma combination is somehow flat. Taste is mostly citrussy sour and a little sugar sweetness. Mouthfeel is grainy with much non aggressive carbonation, medium body. Overall ok, pretty standard.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Very faint lacing. Aroma of green apple, foam banana sweets and sponge cake. Flavour of apricot, straw and grass. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Lively fizz. Clean and refreshing.

Sampled @ Ayinger am Platz, Starkbierzeit 2016. Opálos, beleszagolva érződik a pincebeli jó kis fingszag. Íze dohos, szűretlen, semmi sallang, tiszta keller íz. Nagyon könnyű, habos-kovászos nemespenész.

Slightly darker than golden, a bit hazy, some carbonation visible. Average head and persistence, some lacing. Aroma is cereal, white bread, slightly herbal/grassy and slightly fruity (lemon, maybe apple). Taste closely reflects the aroma, slightly on the sweet side, balanced by a hint of bitterness in the dry finish. Light body and just a bit of crispness, very easy but still pleasantly soft on both tongue and palate. Not impressive but well done

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2016 I bought this beer in Munich, Örterer Getränk Shop Leopoldstrasse. For the style, it is in my point of view, a good one. At the nose, the smell is discreet herbal. The body is yellow and clear, white and thin foam, average carbonation. The taste is a bit watery, a bit metalic, but it is acceptable, malty touch and hop giving herbal notes and bitterness, well balanced. It is a perfecy beer after the job. I drank it again in Paris, I could notice one side creamy and there is one side creamy, few wheat or discreet touch of banana, great for the style because it is not so easy to make a good kellerbeer.
