Commercial Description:
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

From the Bottle Aroma is sweet and deep very yeasty. Looks very nice. Flavor is very malty. Mouth feel is very dry and under pronounced. An interesting brew. It is cold as shit in southern Alberta right now and I think this beer would better suit the summer.

500 ml, 5.6% abv. Clear, burnt orange-amber with a quarter inch of frosting above. Aromas of grilled corn, sweet cherry, apple, cereal grain and hay. Flavor is caramel with a sour tint, hearty toasted grain and light apple. Finish is crisp and grassy-woody. Medium body is smooth, tongue-tingly and slightly astringent. Creamy lace left on the glass.

Amber with creamy head. Chocolate, spice, and malt. Refreshing and well constructed, but nothing special

Light amber pour. Whitish head. Aroma of malt, malt and more lamt. Some caramel and bready notes evident as well. Flavor is full of a nice full bodied malt, bread and some caramel. All in all tihs is good shit.

Sadly, this style is a rarity (locally-brewed or imported) in this part of the world. It was nice to sample Ayinger, which poured with a creamy head over a copper-coloured body. The aroma was of lightly-toasted malt, with a slightly sweet, syrupy accent. The flavour was bready, though the toasted malt made it more like bread crusts. Nice dry finish, but the body could have been a bit smoother: the carbonation was a little prickly for the style.

Poured amber in color with a creamy, off-white head that settle to a thin cover and left light lacing. The aroma was of caramel, spices, and a light roast. The flavor found chocolate and spices. Light body with a malty aftertaste.

Pours a golden amber with a nice sized head that dissapates but never really goes away. Aroma is malty, floral, some buttery toast, caramel, and a hint of crusty leaves. Tastes very buttery, tuns of toffee, toasted malt, spice and nuttyness. Really nice mouth feel, creamy and pleasantly sticky. Has a nice finish that lingers pleasantly. Really nice beer.

Pours an orange amber color with a huge white head that falls off to some nice sticky white lace around the glass. Aroma is bready maltiness, caramel and some spiciness from the hops. Flavor is bready caramel maltiness with some spiciness from the hops in the finish.
