Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Very smoothe, crisp, and delicious. Possibly the best Oktoberfest beer I’ve ever had.

Bottle: amber gold. White froth that disappears quickly. Toasty malt with ripe red apple aroma. Malt and a hint of toffee. Light medium weight. Hint of sweetness and just a touch of bitterness. Very fresh and bright with dry finish. Just lacking a little depth.

Draft at yard house. Orange with white head. Wheat earth dirt and malty. Carmel notes. Sour? I don't like it

September 2010. 500 ml. bottle. Amber color with a white head. Caramel aromas with malty and floral notes. Slightly sweet but with a good balance. Outstanding seasonal brew.

Draught. Pours amber in color with a small off-white head. Lots of malty notes, some sweet garden fruityness and some more liquid bready makty notes in aroma. Really nice. Sweetish in taste with some butterscotch and faint floral and notes of bready malts lingering beneath. This is a real treat once again from Brauerei Aying. Just a bit of burnt grainy notes in the end, but despite that the nice sweet maltyness reigns here.

Bottle- pours clear copper, thick ring of off white head. Nose is bread, German malts, candied bananas and grains. On the tongue, malts, figs, esters, grains, drying bitterness on the finish. Medium to full bodied. Real nice example of the style even if not a favorite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear copper pour with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, bread. Taste is so good I want to move to Bavaria. Clean, refreshing, caramel, bready. Nice pleasant aftertaste.
