4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a nice copper with an effervescent white head. Nice gently malty bready nose and taste. You can tell this beer was aged appropriately drinking real nice and smooth, as it should.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pint bottle into snifter glass, clear copper color with fluffy off-white head. Aroma of warm bread, caramel and faint apple/fruity note. Taste adds notes of grain, toast, honey, dark fruit and balanced earthy hops. Medium-light body, low-moderate carbonation, soft, creamy with clean caramel finish. Very drinkable excellent Oktoberfest.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500 ml bottle, the beer pours a mostly clear dark gold/amber color with about an inch frothy off-white head that sticks around a while. There’s also a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like caramel and bready malt, honey, and light earthy hops. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of a bit of apple and dark fruit. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s smooth and easy to drink with moderate carbonation. I thought this was a good Oktoberfest brew, I’d buy this again in the future. $3.49 a bottle.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500 ml bottle. Pours light brown sugar color with a small tan head. Smells of sweet caramel. Tastes like a caramel apple with a little crisp hop flavor. The perfect fall beer that’s refreshing and tasty while still remaining a beer. One of my all time favorites.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours with a medium foam---1/2 inch---disappears quickly. Nice deep gold color and slight off-white head. Faint sweet clover-like aroma ("floral"?)and smells of yeast/bread with slight hop aroma. Taste is like a American lager but perhaps a bit more hop flavor and much more crisp/tart on the back palate---slightly acidic. Overall, pleasant if somewhat boring "old world" style; compared to hop-bombs and weird formulations so popular in many craft brews today.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pint nine bottle shared. Pours a deep golden amber with white head and spider web lacing. Aroma is mildly sweet malts with some floral overtones. The flavor is crisp and clean exactly what an octoberfest beer should taste like. Mild sweetness in the malts. Floral hops and finishes crisp and clean. Give me liters of this one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear, copper-golden color with a large light tan head. Some carbonation bubbles migrate from the bottom. Sorghum and Christmas pull candy on the nose. Puffy mouthfeel with a slight burn on the rear of the palate. The bitterness profile cuts the sweetness expected from the aroma. It imparts a fruitiness where the sweet pull candy and sorghum would’ve otherwise dominated.
