COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Pours very well, which gives a nice, but fleeting head. Red to brown hue, that ends up as copper. Sweet to bitter, malty fruityness. Very pleasant and easy on the palate. Smooth and simple, quite good.

This is more on par with Celebrator than their Ur-weisse, but still not quite at that level. Purple grape juice aroma with hint of chocolate. Reddish-brown hue and consistent head lead to a light, slightly bubbly mouthfeel. Malty and predominantly flavored by grape, this is a great brew. A bit rich, not something I could drink all night, this should probably be enjoyed only once every so often.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2010 Golden body, with some floral notes above its malty caramel tones. Very sessionable with a hint of sweetness throughout its soft, light-bodied texture. Ends on a bit of a bitter, metallic note.

Nice Marzen. Great carmal/malt aromas and flavor. Not much to complain about.

Very good for style. Nice malty nose and flavor. I’m not a big lager fan, but I really liked this beer.

Very nice malts, well balanced. Monster head on this guy.
