COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Aroma is combination fruit, honey and buttered toast. Quick open head with light amber color. Flavor hoppy with pine and grapefruit predominant, some honey-fall fruit, maybe peach. Palate is light, with some caramel and tartar. This is a good October beer, saved by the hops from being mediocre.

I give a bigger rating to this beer based on it’s style. For an Oktober, it’s unbelievable. For a great beer, it’s ok. There’s a nice malty aroma, as with most oktobers, with a nice crisp taste. Very suprising, for the style. This gave me a greater respect.

Poured a deep copper color with a huge head that stuck around for a long time. Has a sweet and malty aroma that smells like caramel. Delicously complex flavor and very well balanced Marzen. I can taste the floral hops, sweet malts that taste a bit like caramel and vanilla, and some spice, citrus, and woody notes that make this beer one of the best Octoberfest beers I’ve ever had. Wonderful and highly recomended.

Pours a rich copper with tall, persistant off-white head. Nutty aroma. Good malty flavor without being unbalanced or too heavy. Smooth finish. Like an amber ale without the hops; not a complex beer but one well suited for its purpose.

From a German beer pub a while ago, not many notes, sorry. Bottled. Aroma: Caramel, hops, hay, malt. Appearance: I think I am reading "darker color with amber/some gold." Taste: Hops and malt but there is good balance with some underlying honey. Palate: Easy to drink but quite flavorful. Nice stuff.

Bottle. Golden orange with a good creamy head. Aroma is mild, with a bit of hops coming through. Nice flavor. Creamy and sweet with a good bit of carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Sweet roasty malts are prevalent in the aroma. This had a light to medium sweetness, medium body, and thick texture that had a very thirst quenching attribute. Overall, this was a very enjoyable beer that I could recommend to any lager lover!

Nice yeasty aroma. Pours copper with a white foamy head. Lightly sweet flavor, a bit bready. Overall very pleasant beer.
