Fest off , great label and cool cap. Amber hue., low carbonation light amber color like yuengling, easy drink ability, light Carmel taste, Munich malt, clean, low hops, but balanced. I would have a few more of these. Drinkable for the category..delicious

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thin head. Sweet, malty nose. Don't detect too much hop aroma. Slight carbonation. Flavor is as aroma. A little mustier than most Fests. Finish is short and a bit tinny. Was expecting more.

Typical amber pour just like any other Oktoberfest. Not much in the way of a head though.
Yeasty, smoky smell with a touch of hoppiness to it.
Very smooth taste to this Oktoberfest. I usually compare all other Oktoberfests with the Paulaner offering and this is pretty close. Not quite what the Paulaner has in taste but this isn’t bad at all.
Very sessionable beer here. I could drink lots of these watching a football game or out on the porch on a cool fall day.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
deep amber color with large tan colored head showing fine bubbles, good brussels lace on the glass as is goes down.
Nose is funky--kind of like bread, with maltiness forward and supporting floral hops.
Taste is a bit drier than expected, with subtle hops and decent maltiness.
A nice take on the style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from the bottle shelf for $1.49 Poured a nice copper color with a thick head. Aroma of sweet malts and a slight citrus note. Flavor was rather "crisp" and "spicy?" witha back bone of sweet malts. A rather dry mouthfeel, I dont know why but this Octoberfest didn’t move me the way Hacker-Pschorr did.
