COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Exactly what I want an Oktoberfest beer to taste like. Pours a rich brown-gold with a lingering head. Malty aroma with slight hints of grain. Flavor is nice malt with a little hop, which balances out well. Smooth with a nice finish, sweet yet mildly bitter. Great stuff.

500ml bottle poured a clearorange copper with a lasting off white head. Aromas of biscuity malt, carmel and a hint of n9oble hops in the background.Palate was medium to full bodied. Flavors of toasted malt, carmel and just a hint of hops with a smooth dry lingering malty finish. This is one MALTY mother of a beer!

Bottle. Pours orange with a frothy off-white head that mostly diminishes, some spotty lacing. Aroma is nutty malt (meal, cereal, straw), yeast (dough) and fruit (pear, apricot). Medium sweet malt and yeast flavor, fruity with hops and a medium acidity and bitterness. Medium bodied, dry and slightly spicy palate.

Tap @ The Forge Foco. Poured into a goblet, huh? Pours a dark, clear orange appearance with a cream colored head. Sweet fruity, creamy, straw, toffee, a touch boozy, straw aroma. Kind of metallic, somewhat dry. Straw, earthy, grassy, creamy caramel, somewhat floral hoppy, toasty malty flavor. Not sure what is up with the high metallicity but it’s off putting.
