COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

I just picked up 60 bottles- this is truly a great Seasonal and is the best Oktoberfest I have ever had plus it seems very consistent from year to year. The refrigerator is now stocked and I will be popping the top on one of these bottles this evening!

This brew is a thing of beauty. Bubbly goodness travelling up the glass to form a perfect a head. Smells great! Smooth. Great after taste. Lots of flavour. Lots going on. Lingers. Warms. Paul Ay(z)inger would enjoy this one. I need to find this beer in town and load up. Don't want this party to end. My taste buds will be boogeyin' long after this beer is done. Yowzer wowzer. Long live Ayinger Oktoberfest Marzen! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle at Beer Station, Xiamen. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of sticky malt. Sweetish creamy finish.

Bottle purchased at Four Firkins and consumed with commonshawn. Golden/copper color with minimal head. Sweet aromatics with bubblegum and candy-like notes. Expectations of malt and bread are met with the initial impact on the tongue. Some nutty, caramel characteristics but in general it’s a pretty straightforward Oktoberfest. Aftertaste is malty and sweet. It’s probably in the upper echelon of Oktoberfest/marzen options.

Medium bottle from four firkins with commonmac. Light copper with white head. Sweet grain malt, very german nose. Strong aroma. Slightly metallic sweet malt grain. Consistent taste throughout. Typical of style, was expecting more.

One of my favorites, very smooth and drinkable. Malty with slight sweetness, in my opinion the perfect example of the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An nice Summer beer. Pours a bright golden with a white head. Smells of peaches and pears. Taste is smooth with more peach, wheat and a honey finish. Had in the bottle.

Pours a hazy copper with little to no retention. Aroma of biscuit and yeast (in a good way). Taste of toast and caramel. Smooth, almost buttery palate... mouth feel is remarkable. The finest I’ve had yet of this style. Off to get another!

Appearance is clean an light golden with a thick white foam cap. Aroma is toast and bread crust, with a hint of raisin. Taste is rich bread and caramel, with some raisin and light toast. Mouthfeel is medium with a slight creaminess and moderate carbonation. Finishes with a nice bitterness to balance the rich caramel malt that lingers.

Great drinkability. I would have no problem. Drinking this by the stein. Pours dark amber with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Good malt. Hint of hops. Great barley aroma. Bottle.
