Commercial Description:
The dry bitterness of classic pilsner makes this a perfect, pre-dinner drink. Although we borrowed the style from Bohemia, our pils is classsic Bavarian, made partially with barley we grow ourselves, a blend of fresh Hallertau and Tetnang hops and our unique St. Andreas mineral water. The vivacious color is reflective of the barley fields that surround our brewery. The head is light and thick and leaves a beautiful Bavarian lace on the empty glass. . In the mouth, our pils achives balance and roundness, without the hops overpowering the fruitiness of the malt.

Bottled. Yellowish golden in colour with a medium sized head. Malty and hoppy with grainy and grassy notes. Somewhat dry finish.

Clear blonde colour, rich head at the beginning. The aroma is hoppy, with grassy notes, but there’s also some maltiness. The flavouris is overall herbal, with a very good hopping, and the bitterness, that however is not so high lingers in your mouth in a good aftertaste. Good pilsner.

Excellent appearance but the hoppy kick on the flavor threw me off a little bit. This beer was a little tangy and hoppier than I would have expected. It was not on par with many of their other fine brews.

A Mes rate: A bland pils that seems a little all over the place to me. Nothing much else to report really. Does exactly what you would expect with no frills or class.

For sure, there is no doubt this is a good brewery, but this beer was not as good as the lagres. I mean, it has not that sour smell, but it was ok after all. I liked it, it was clear and strong.

Meh. I’m really not enthused. The flavors don’t blend well, and something is just not balanced about this. It lacks the panache of a Czech pils, that’s for sure.
