COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The dry bitterness of classic pilsner makes this a perfect, pre-dinner drink. Although we borrowed the style from Bohemia, our pils is classsic Bavarian, made partially with barley we grow ourselves, a blend of fresh Hallertau and Tetnang hops and our unique St. Andreas mineral water. The vivacious color is reflective of the barley fields that surround our brewery. The head is light and thick and leaves a beautiful Bavarian lace on the empty glass. . In the mouth, our pils achives balance and roundness, without the hops overpowering the fruitiness of the malt.

a potent pils, points for potentcy...biting taste in the back of the throat leaves me thirsty for more, that's a good sign

Found this in the back of my parents fridge while visting. One of my brothers(who moved out 4 years ago) must have left it. I was suprised it still had a decent pssst upon opening. Poured a decent head which eventually disapated. Top part of bottle was ok but bottom was too cloudy to venture into. I poured rest. I'll have to find a fresh one someday.

Bottled. Straw gold with a moderate thin head and reasonable condition. Delicate hop and malt blend of aromas, becoming quite hoppy in the mouth and bitter towards the finish

I didn’t like it that much, but German PIls are always nice to drink.

Had this at Ayinger and between Forschungbrau, Andechs and Ayinger it came it a third (which is liking saying who was better: Mickey, Willie or ’The Duke’. If you go to Munchen, stop in Ayinger (they even rent rooms and the food is great).
