The dry bitterness of classic pilsner makes this a perfect, pre-dinner drink. Although we borrowed the style from Bohemia, our pils is classsic Bavarian, made partially with barley we grow ourselves, a blend of fresh Hallertau and Tetnang hops and our unique St. Andreas mineral water. The vivacious color is reflective of the barley fields that surround our brewery. The head is light and thick and leaves a beautiful Bavarian lace on the empty glass. . In the mouth, our pils achives balance and roundness, without the hops overpowering the fruitiness of the malt.

On tap at St. Georg Hotel. Looks good! Great head, nice bubbles. Taste is a little too bitter for me.

On tap at Brauereigasthof Ayinger. Poured clear golden in colour with foamy off-white head. Fruity, malty and a bit of parfume in aroma. Fruity and floral notes in flavour. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Nice, fruity slightly hoppy bitterness in aftertaste.

Tap at their Munich beerhall. Two fingers of pure white cap; sparkling light clear gold color. Seaside aromas from the hops, light crackery malt. Definitely hoppy, but bit muted compared to the aroma...still tasty, bit minerally and grassy hops. Very crisp, but delicate body with vibrant carbonation. Beyond easy drinking....

Bottle 33 cl bought @ Bir&Fud, Rome. A smooth yeast and hops aroma, not so intense, with a hint of biscuit and barley. Very yellow clear color, foam is nonexistent. Carbonation is extremely high, incredible light body (more that of bohemian pils) but without a watery character. Instead, malt presence is pleasant and mixed with cereal notes. Strong bitterness in the finish: resinous, with a massive grapefruit aspect. Very good pils.

Pours clear golden with a huge fluffy off white head leaving some lacing. Bready, malty, herbal and slightly fruity hoppy aroma. Crisp fresh mouthfeel. Very hoppy and dry, slightly acidy fruity flavor, very nice for a pils. Fruity sweet palate. Finishes with a great bitter hoppy longlasting bite.

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours a fine, clear golden with a slight green hue. Lovely, staying, frothy white head that settles as denser and more creamy. Malty aroma, some brewing cereal sweetness, grassy hops and a doughy feel throughout. Medium carbonation, quite creamy palate for a pilsner. Some dryness. Flavour is mild, fat malty, some sweetness, doughy again. Fair bitterness in the finish. Grassy and somewhat floral hops notes. Long, lingering bitterness. Okay.

Beer has a yellow color with a creamy head. The aroma was a generic bland beer, not skunky. The taste was crisp and refreshing, with no lingering aftertaste. It is a drinkable brew, good for a couple of drinks. It is not quite what I expected in a German pilsner.
