COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Beautiful German wheat beer. Great to have it available here in Puerto Rico! Aroma somewhat yeasty. Finely bubbled foam that did not last until end of glass. Was expecting a dunkel weizen as promised on label but color is - eher mittel dunkel oder dunkel Gold. Nonetheless, the flavor is typical hefeweizen with slight banana and pineapple flavors dominating. A good solid and refreshing Hefeweizen.

bottle - pours a medium amber color, smallish head. The aroma is of spicy orange biscuit. The taste is somewhat bitter and spicy, lacking a bit of caramel to be truly good, still a great beer.

Hazy orange pour, white head. The aroma is spicy, clove, some banana. The flavor follows almsot exactly, maybe a tad sweeter. The finish is a spicy, burning feeling. Medium mouthfeel. Decent, nothing especially great.

From a bottle poured a cloudy amber color with a good amount of head. Nice sweet malty cirus flavor with a lasting finish.

Pours a medium dark golden that is very murky with decent carbonation and a light frothy white head. Aromas of banana, clove, light spice, ginger, bubblegum, and some yeasts. Flavors of light to medium yeasts, banana, clove, ginger, spice, and slight apricot. Slightly sweet with and end that begs for the next.

From bottle at Haket. Cloudy pale orange with medium-sized creamy head. Fruity aroma with elegant banana touch along with peat and clove. Big-ish body with light acidity, nice fruitiness and light phenolic, as in tin. Rounded smooth mouthfeel. Great hefe yet again!
