COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Tried with lemon. Hazy orange pour. Aroma is typical of wheat. Taste without lemon was a mix of wheat grains with a soft bland finish. The addition of lemon provided the citrus kick that was missing and made for an excellent wheat.

Very quality product. A good example of this German beer style. Poured to a hazy deep grey with lots of foam and a strong, lingering thick white head. There was a minimal aroma of malt and coffee. Tasted primarily of yeast, dark bread and fruit with a slightly sour aftertaste. Some cocoa and banana, better and more spicy when it was a bit warmer.

Cloudy light brown pour with a nice off-white head. Aroma of banana, citrus, malt, and yeast. Taste is of roasted malt, slight banana and some sweetness. Really smooth drinking beer. Leaves a nice mouthfeel.

Bomber thanks to KAggie97. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium sized head. Aromas of banana, some spice (clove) wheat and yeast. Flavors are fruity and spicey. Thanks again Kevin.

bottle, thank you pivnizub! Cloudy amber-brown colour, large beige head. Malty-chocolatey nose. Full-bodied, malty with lovely caramel and chocolate flavours. Well-balanced with a pleasant and smooth mouthfeel.

The first thing i got was the taste of Bubble-Gum. Wheat, banana and a almost malty hit.

Bottle from BevMo. A nice dunkelweizen. Refreshing as hell. Hazy orangish brown color with a substantial head. Aroma of wheat, banana, and yeast. Flavor is more of the same, along with orange peel and other dried fruits. Smooth palate with medium carbonation.

Bottle. Cloudy, ruddy brown with a dense, thick offwhite head. Good rich, spicy banana aroma and flavours. Hints of apples as well. A very solid and complex dunkelweizen.
