COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Aroma of banana, bread and clove. Taste is sweet with a subtle smooth bitterness. Orange body is cloudy and head retains quite well.

Draught at Ayingers Speis & Trank, Munich. Brownish-amber, cloudy body, with big, creamy, white head. Aroma of banana, orange, bread, bubblegum, honey, clove. Tastes of banana-cake, bubblegum, honey, citrus, bread, biscuit. Full mouthfeel, lively carbonation and it finishes fruity and slightly spicy. Wow, tasty! So smooth, perfectly balanced and surpisingly complex. The best Dunkelweizen I’ve had so far!

Draft at Ayingers Speis und Trank - Munich. Pours clearish amber with a creamy, off-white head. Nose of toast and light, tangy berries. Light-medium sweet flavor with toasted caramel, hints of cocoa, mellow leafy bitterness, well rounded brown bread. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with well toasted brown bread, light toffee. Pretty delicious. A very well balanced beer.

Pours a cloudy amber / brown colour, with a huge, creamy, off-white head. On the nose there is complex fruitiness and almost gives off a tiny hint of smokiness. On the palate there is traces of bananas, cloves, apples, all rolled up together. Overall good brew!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, röstmalzig, leicht fruchtig würzig. Geschmack hefig, leicht würzig, leicht fruchtig.

Nice wheat beer at solid Löwenbrau! Sweet, sour and yeasty at the same time with some lemon to it. Looks like swamp water.. Definitely a nice beer and a better than average weissbier..

Bottle; old gold, cloudy, thick white head; aroma is wheat, banana; taste has more banana than your average wheat beer, along with pronounced yeast and some light citrus fruits, all over a solid base of wheat and malt; a wheat beer with a bit of extra depth.
