Bottle. Pour is a dingy and light brown color with a massive, fluffy head. Aromas are heavy on the cloves and spicey yeast notes with some banana mixed in and a little sawdust. Mouthfeel is kind of grainy/dusty which compliments the flavors of cloves and such. Still, it is a very light dunkel. Just a touch of a sourness to it helps to keep things interesting, but I’m not sold on this one.

Jul 22, 2008 One of my favorite German wheat beers that is available in Texas. Dark golden straw in color. Yeasty and malty with fruit aromas. An excellent summertime brew.

Jul 22, 2008 Hazy amber with large white head. Sweet aroma with wheat and banana notes. Sweet yeasty flavor with toasted malt,caramelwheat and banana notes. Ends sweet.

Jul 20, 2008 Pours a cloudy caramel with a thick eggshell head. Aroma is sweet and citrusy. Flavor is lucious. Sweet and malty wheat-citrus flavor. Delicious. Light and refreshing, yet full-flavored. Hints of apple, fig, and maybe some pear. Delicious.

Jul 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice hazy amber/brown with a big off white head. Smells of bananas and malts. Thick and chewy on the palate. Again the malts dominate the flavor. No heavy aftertaste. An excellent brew.

Jul 12, 2008 Absolutely delicious. Think, foamy head. Very hazy dark brown. Immediately malt and banana aroma. Tastes fruity, creamy in the mouth. Highly recommended.
