COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

16.9 oz bottle Market of Choice. Pours out a hazy amber with a big white head and minimal lacing. Aroma of banana, clove, apples. Flavor is wheat with banana, clove, apples thrown in. There’s a crisp snap to this beer, very effervescent. Definitely enjoyed this one quite a bit.

50cl bottle. Large yellowish head that lasted for quite long. sweet aroma, with taste of fruit, bananas and citrus. Very nice weizenbier.

Very murky slight goldish/brown in appearance, similar to an English ale. The aroma is up front wheat grain, then dominated by banana and malts. The flavor is similar to the aroma, dominated by bananas and has a good maltiness. Normally I’m not a dunkelweizen fan but this is incredibly good, par for the course for this brewery.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange/amber. Quickly disappearing white head. Bananas, a hint of spice and some strong yeast on the nose. Slightly thin and metallic on the palate. Flavors of roasted malt, dry/spicy yeast, clove and banana. Not too bad. Quite drinkable.

Yeasty aroma with slight banana. Cloudy light brown color with a large head that dissipates moderately. Smooth start with a slight amount of hops and spices in the finish. A little watery palate.

Pours a light yellow hazy brown with a large, pearly white head. Light yeasty aroma, with wheat and hay. A bit chewy, flavours have some orange rind, good malt and is very moist on the palatte. Clean finish if not the most interesting, it is extremely solid, enjoyable and drinkable.

Hazy brown with a big tan head that went away quickly. Lots of spices in the smell and taste along with some wheat and malt. Aftertaste was of slightly sour fruit. Quite enjoyable.

Brown ice tea-like color, nice head. Yeasty and very fruity nose, very appetizing. Yeasty flavors, light citrusy/wheaty notes. Every beer i’ve had by this brewery is good, nice work.
