COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Nice, creamy frothy head, cloudy copper-colored body. Strongly cellared and musty-wheat aroma. Generally malty, but not overly, and pleasant. The flavor is slightly sweet, and mostly malty, with a hint of yeastiness. Thin, watery finish. Decent and drinkable.

Fine appearing brew. Lightly cloudy copper color with massive off white head that is retained. Aroma is wonderful and akin to Celebrator, nicely malty and nutty with a bit of toffee. Flavor is delicious. Wheat flavor, some light banana, bit of apple juice a dash of spice and a clean dry finish. Man am I glad spring is here. I am love the Hefe's.

on tap (I think) at the Ayingers Spies & Trank, Munich Creamy white head. Cloudy amber pour. Very nice. If you know your German beer types here, go for the German menu. The English version descriptions are misleading

Tap at their Munich beerhall. Pillowy white head with great retention; muddy dark brown and some rusty orange for the color. Loads of bananas that dominate the aroma. Bananas continue strong into the flavor but still tart and a little sour. Finishes with residual banana sweetness and bubblegum hints. Pretty good stuff.

Aroma of yeast and fruit (apples). Cloudy brownish color, nice head, tasted of apples, some banana, and spice. Sweet yet very refreshing and delicious. A very impressive beer.
