COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Pours a cloudy, straw colored body with a white, rimming head. Smells of banana, yeast, and malt. Flavor is banana, yeast, zest, and barnyard. Finish is decent but fades a bit quickly.

Hazy orange-brown pour with a very thick silky head. Wheaty aroma with lots of spice and some funky yeast. Dry cloves and spices. Lots of wheat flavor with a bit of yeast. Slightly tart with citrus and lemon notes as well as apple and banana. Very fruity and delicious. Crisp, refreshing, easy to drink beer.

Cloudy apricot color with a very nice off white head. Aroma was first banana then yeast then spice (cinnamon, clove). Flavor starts tangy and spicy with a hint of fruit (apple, white grape) and finishes kinda dry with a light banana aftertaste. Palate a little thin, but overall a nice brew.

500ml bottle in a weizen glass. Pours deep golden with a fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of wheat, toasted and cereal malts, and floral hops. Flavor about the same, with a little light fruit. Average texture. A decent beer.

Pours a murky, dark orange-straw into the glass, with an initial lavish head that reduces to a thin cap. The nose has huge banana aromas... quite dominant. Some pear flavors upfront, maybe hints at Granny Smith apples. Yeast follows in the mid-palate (very fruit-bready), with a crisp, brisk finish that culminates spices and reinstates banana. The body is light, and the mouthfeel is soda-esque, with lively carbonation. A nice dunkelweisse!
