COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Pungent banana and bubblegum aroma. Cloudy dark copper color with a big white head. Not as dark as i was expecting. There flavor is nice and estery, bubblegum and bananas, also some nice toasted bread. A very excellent dunkelweizen. Somewhat of a tangy aftertaste.

Big off white persistant head atop a hazy gold pour. Aromas of yeast, bananna and spice are reflected in the flavor profile of earthy bread, clove and caramel malt. Medium body and a fine velvety carbonation top off a great example of the style.

Aroma is a slightly sweet fruity lager smell. Appearance is a soft brown with a thin head on top. Flavor is quite nice, very fruity and soft. The breadish flavor comes through nicely, making this a good summer brew.

An intense rocky white head, like the snow capped peaks of the Bavarian Alps, only thicker. Banana, passion fruit, and peach aroma. Smooth palate, not too spritzy. Burnt orange colour, sort of cloudy. Banana flavour with some light caramel. I highly reccomend.

This is almost perfect. Rich and malty with that beautiful yeastiness, with clove and banana, and a various assortment of other dried fruits. Nice carbonation, a superior mouthfeel, and still finishes quite refreshing.

Bottle in trade with Bonster. Full pour in wheat beer glass yeilds a darker toned center column with a hazy honey tan encompassing it. It slowly blends together for a caramel haze with a tight white head. Nose of creals and wheat malt. Soft rounded body has tones of pear and scaramel apples. wheat /yeast tang offset the subtle sweetness. Clove and citrussy finish spark the tastebuds for more.

Pours a cloudy brown with thin white head. Smells of clove and dark fruit. Taste much the same with dark fruit up front and clove in the background. Very carbonated and a bit chewy. A solid brew but for the style try New Glarus Black Wheat.
