COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Not a whole lot of banana aroma; it’s more citrusy, but the banana really comes through in the flavor. Nice bready finish.

Big off white persistant head atop a hazy gold pour. Aromas of yeast, bananna and spice are reflected in the flavor profile of earthy bread, clove and caramel malt. Medium body and a fine velvety carbonation top off a great example of the style.

500mL bottle. Pours a cloudy yellowish amber with a bunch of white head. Aroma has a lot of cereal, some fruits, and touch of roast. Taste is cereal, lots of yeast, wheat, banana, apples, and a bit of herbal character. Finish is smooth, with malts and a bit of fruit.

Pint bottle poured to pint glass. Cloudy color, good fizz, average head that has definite hints of fruit. Overall pretty good.

Pours a cloudy dark brown into a Weizen glass. Significant head recedes and leaves no lacing. Banana and clove notes. Apple and banana with a lasting clove finish.

Bottle. My beer dealer forced me to buy this. Thank you Svend (Enjoyit). It was a very pleasant experience. Dark golden with huge off white head. Aroma dominated by banana and some wheat. Taste again banana, wheat sweet and malty. When it warms up, it gets a little cloying, but kept colid it is very nice.
