COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Bottle BBE dec/2009. Alcoholic and yeasty aroma is quite strong. Hazy orange colour and tall white head makes this beer good looking. Taste is very fruity, lovely stuff. Smooth mouthfeel, medium+ body. Again a very nice beer from Ayinger!

Bottle. Pours a murky brown body topped by a crown of white foam which lingers on the sides of the glass. Nose is delicious: banana, a touch of clove and notes of yeast. These flavors are also evident in the taste; Ayinger Ur-Weisse is very well blended and with a fresh, almost tap-like palate and fruity feeling, in spite of the clear and present malty notes. Yummy. Sweet and well-rounded at the same time, this is really a dunkel weizen I could drink a lot of.

Pours murky copper amber with a huge beige creamy head leaving plenty of lace. Great carbonation. Aroma is very yeasty, bready, cereals, bananas, pears, smoke and grassy hoppy, mmm love it. Crispy fruity and yeasty mouthfeel. Flavor is very fruity, perry, bananas, yeasty, spicy, grassy and slightly smokey. Medium bitter fruity palate. Finishes very nice with a nicely balanced fruity, yeasty and bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours an opaque light brown. Looks like unfiltered apple cider. Aroma of banana, cloves, and apple. Most noticeable flavor is green apple. Also notes of clove and banana. Biting carbonation. Medium body. A very tasty beer.
