COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

bottle poured a brown amber color with a thick foamy two finger white head. aroma has banana yeast, clover, banana bread, wheat, and light spice. the best banana aroma I have found yet. mouth feel is light with plenty of carbonation. flavor has a bit more malt, wheat, banana, yeast, picks up in sweetness, wheat and some light fruit. the carbonation level keeps this from getting too watery.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2010 Cloudy brown beer with medium white head. Aroma is fruitful and complicated, some bananas and sweet malts. Taste is quite sweet and a little yeasty, balanced and not very fruitful, some roastiness. There is some carbonation but still very smooth and pleasant palate. Interesting and pleasant weizen with hint of roastiness

It pours a cloudy golden colour, with a very large heat that quickly dissapates. the aroma is sweet with bananna, pear and apples. One of the sweeter dunkels ive had, it does look like the water from a river not too far from where I live. it has a very full mouthfeel.

Hazy orange-brown pour with a very thick silky head. Wheaty aroma with lots of spice and some funky yeast. Dry cloves and spices. Lots of wheat flavor with a bit of yeast. Slightly tart with citrus and lemon notes as well as apple and banana. Very fruity and delicious. Crisp, refreshing, easy to drink beer.

Pours cloudy brownish amber, with a thick off-white head that held well but left little lacing. Aromas of bananas, granny smith apples and clove supported by a strong maltiness. Sweet caramel malt dominate the taste, with plenty of light fruit in the background. Medium body, healthy amounts of carbonation, and a surprisingly light finish with a touch of hops to set off the malt sweetness.

Bottle from BevMo. A nice dunkelweizen. Refreshing as hell. Hazy orangish brown color with a substantial head. Aroma of wheat, banana, and yeast. Flavor is more of the same, along with orange peel and other dried fruits. Smooth palate with medium carbonation.
