Not bad, it doesn’t stand out to me as more than a powerful wheat beer. It does have some very fine qualities, the spice in the nose is heavy, there is great cloudy amber/yellow colour, and it has good depth, but I wasn’t really drawn back to it. It has an interesting, almost sour, flavour to it.

Bottle pours hazy golden with a creamy offwhite head. Aromas of bannana and light clove. Flavor is bannana, clove, bubblegum, and a little pear. Lots of yeast, some light caramel as well. Medium bodied with lots of carbonation and a fizzy mouthfeel. Not too bad.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2008 Aroma of banana, bubble gum, sour cherries. Color is between tan and dark tan - almost like dirty water. Thought it might be slightly darker for a dunkelweisse. The white head dissipated quickly. No lacing. Flavor is sweet with vanila, sugars, fruit - sweet to slightly sour. Apple to cherry. Smooth beer with a dry finish.

The color was an amber-orange. The head was full, creamy and extremely fluffly. The aroma had a sweet wheat smell. The flavor had hints of citris, srong wheat taste, with a bite to it. The palate was carbonated, and strong yeast. The finish was waxy with slight spice.

Bottle from a great trade with Koelschtrinker (thanks!). Cloudy light-brown color with a a stable beige head. Aroma of wheat, banana, malt, bread and some caramel. Flavor is sweet with wheat, yeast, fruitiness (banana and some citrus), some toasted malt, and some later acidity. Medium-bodied and maybe a bit too much carbonation going on. Nice stuff.
