Our Ayinger Ur-Weisse is an old-fashioned wheat with some fine roasted malt to give it more color and flavor than golden hefe- weisse. It has an immense crown of lovely foam held proudly above a robe of translucent amber. On the palate, malt and yeast predominate, with a delicious balance of fruit and bread-like yeast. The taste is complex, with suggestions of soft fruit, apple, and, in the finish, perhaps, even cloves.

Very quality product. A good example of this German beer style. Poured to a hazy deep grey with lots of foam and a strong, lingering thick white head. There was a minimal aroma of malt and coffee. Tasted primarily of yeast, dark bread and fruit with a slightly sour aftertaste. Some cocoa and banana, better and more spicy when it was a bit warmer.

Bottle from beer club. Pours cloudy medium amber, nice white head. Not a bad beer but beside yeast, bread and some fruit to taste it also had cloves, not a fan of cloves. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Espuma muito volumosa. A primeira impressão é que seria excepcional, mas nenhum elemento se destaca e é bem equilibrada. Se fosse mais barata, daria pra levar e tomar o dia inteiro no churrasco.

Cloudy, Brown pour with a white head. The aroma has wheat and some mild fruit. It has a light body with smooth texture and average carbonation. The taste sweet all the way through.

Bottled. A friend of mine introduced me to this beer and brought me 10 bottles. One word: a fantastic hefe weizen! A banana, clove and malt paradise! What do you want more? Another one of course!

Dense long lasting head. Excellent aroma with a very good ester taste, maybe a little disappointing in the aftertaste but overall very satisfying

Good Dark Weiss specimen. Everything a Hefeweizen has but with the addition of roasted malt flavor, a bit of toasted nut, and some lighter fruit flavors (not citrus though). Slight tart with good carb following the relatively sweet flavor.
