Poured from the bottle it has a hazy pale yellow color in the glass with a small head. The aroma is citrus and flowers. Taste is crisp with banana, lemon and a touch of spice. Good finish.

The colour of peach juice. Peachy, peary, watery sweetness. I like it, but not a lot. It’s missing something.

500ml. Nose is a blast of spicy citrus and banana, with pepper and cloves. The beer is hazy yellow and fairly active. Loaded with effervescence. Flavor is very bitter with just enough sweet malt for balance. Pallet will be stung, not stripped. While not heavy for a bock beer, I feel this one has the depth and complexity lacking in the lighter hefes. Love it and wish it was year round.

Well, the conditioning and appearance of this beer is just plain super. I bought a fridged version at Ye Olde Beer Shoppe and it was new, so perhaps pretty fresh. Notching but no other way to tell the date. Very densely bubbled head and it really stays as a thick ring a long time. Lots of particulate, the beer is cloudy and just yellower than the midpoint on the darkness scale for weizenbocks, Deep rich yellow, dark bronze. Aroma is all fruit; banana, slightly sour peach or apricot, musty grain, natural. Opens up when warm, and doesn’t get too acrid. Flavor is mostly sweet, a little sourness. Tastes bready. Not a super complex flavor. Good beer, doesn’t devolve but doesn’t blow my mind either. 7.1 is better than 7.5ish and up, so that’s a plus.

CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 22, 2012
(500ml bottle) Purchased at Cook Street Liquor in Victoria, BC. Pours a lasting medium creamy head atop a cloudy, well carbonated yellow amber hue. Nose of pure bruised bananas and mild citrus. Flavour is crisp, wheaty and banana. Overly sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPod; and powered by RateBeer.com, the world’s largest and most accurate beer database.

Bottle. Pours an orange-straw color with a nice white head. Yeasty aroma, with notes of grass and citrus - very pleasant. A solid example of a Weizenbock - citrus, cloves, a bit of banana, and a lot of slightly bready yeast. Aftertaste isn’t terrific. Pretty nice in all, though.

dwaggs2 (1178) - Jefferson City, Missouri, USA - FEB 14, 2012
Bottle. Poured a very cloudy darker yellow color with a two finger pillow white head that retained and left lacing on the glass as it went. Aroma was some citrus flavors, along with bacon and wheat. Grass, lemon and a citrusy grapefruit in the flavor. Acidac finish with a hint of caramel and malts. Better than I thought it would be.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a massive white head, good retention/lace. Aroma is banana, clove, dough, honey, light citrus note. Taste is fresh baked wheat bread, ripe banana. Palate is soft, creamy, average carbonation, low bitterness. Awesome.

16.9oz bottle shared with Khan. Thanks buddy!! Pours a hazy gold with a half finger of white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, baking spices and some wet cheerios. Taste is medium sweet. Banana, clove and wheat. Medium bodied with a somewhat thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, very good. Not something I would seek out but if you see it on the shelf go ahead and pick one up.
