Bottle 33cl. Pours a nice cloudy golden weizen, huge head. Smells like bread, grain and fruits. Fresh. Nice impression. Longlasting, intense and differenced aftertaste. Very good, another great beer of this great brewery.

Bottle. Hazy amber with huge, dense white head. Yeasty and fruity aroma with elements of banana, lemon and apricot. Flavour is sweet and fruity with notes of vanilla. Finishes fresh with a light bitterness and a citric touch to it. One of the better weizen bocks I’ve had.

NosirIwont (1964) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2008
Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow/orange with a white head. Aroma is yeast, sweetish and with slight burnt notes. Spicy and grassy notes as it warms. Flavour is sweet and yeasty with slight coriander notes. Finish has a lingering sweetness as well as grassy notes. Fair, but weissbiers aren’t really my thing. 24-01-08.

Bottle, bought @ Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg.
Pours a wonderful, muddy, pale yellow. A big, frothy off white head. Acceptable lacing. Sweet aroma, lots of banana, oranges and cloves. Wheat is very apparent as well. Very creamy mouthfeel with a lively mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, lightly vinious, rather sweet. Lots of fruity wheat. Banana, lemons, oranges and light spiciness. Really wonderful and refreshing.

(Tap @ Mallaskukko, Turku) Hazy yellow/orange, forms easily an insane head. Very fruity aroma, orange maybe. Crisp flavor... grass, citrus, even salty liquorice, sweet maltiness. Slightly carbonated feel, very very refreshing. Hope to re-taste this in the summer. Excellent.

Bottle - Beautiful a little to unclear body with an elegant creamy head; Slightly fruity round a little to straight forward nose with a few well hidden nuances; The body is initially very round , a little fatty with a slightly acidy touch; It moves smoothly into a little to discrete finish with lots of aromas, balanced and complex. Well made, true German beer!

Pours a hazy amber with a white, rocky head. Very sweet with aormas of banana and cereals. Hint of bread too. Full bodied. Soft carbonation. The finish is sweet, with some bitterness and a hint of bread. I like most of it apart form the finish.

0.5L on draft at Ayinger’s Speis und Trank during 2007 Oktoberfest in Munich When you’re tired of the tents and fairgrounds of Oktoberfest and want to sit and savor some of the greatest liquids on God’s green Earth, walk through the Marienplatz and head to Speis und Trank. This beer was 0.5L of heaven in a glass. Truly a memorable dark wheat offering from one of the best brewers you’ll find (in my humble opinion, obviously). Wonderful clove aromas augment a beautiful malt flavor that just seduces the front of your taste buds. I believe that this beer went into a wooden barrel less than 24 hours before I drank it. The freshness was that apparent. This is a near-perfect brew, one that did not disappoint my lofty expectations for Ayinger. On par for this style in quality as is Ayinger’s Celebrator for the doppelbock style. Damn fine.
