3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Into a weizen glass. Three fingers of tight foam head. Dark, cloudy straw color.
A grainy smell, peach and blunted pine as well.
A little banana taste, light malt, lemon bitterness and lightly sour. Delicious.
Crisp and medium body with moderate carbonation. Longer finish.
A great example of quality beer.

Pours a cloudy darker yellow color, topped with an average white head. Aroma is fruity, bananas and some spices (cloves) and slightly wheaty. Taste starts sweet and fruity with some spicy feel in the aftertaste.

500ml bottle, pours Carmel colored with nice off white head. Aroma mild a distinctly Bavarian, as is the taste which overall is well balanced and pears well with just about anything. Some debris at the bottom after settles. Overall another great beer from a great brewery.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The nose is estery and fruity, with banana, Ambrosia apples, clove, breakfast cereal, a bit of caramel, a bit of malted grain, and various spicy notes. There’s also a sweet undertone, like bubblegum or cotton candy. Strange, but pleasant. The pour is a hazy light amber with a big off-white head. The mouthfeel is creamy, with smooth but abundant carbonation and a medium-to-thin body. The taste is bitter, with fruity flavors providing a sort of overripe sweetness and tartness. A mild alcoholic sting and an earthy, peppery edge lead to a mostly dry finish. Apple and banana linger. Too easy to drink for a beer that’s deceivingly inebriating, at over 7% abv.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured from a pint bottle into a weizen glass on 01.14.15.
A: Banana, lemon, orange, and sweet clove.
A: 2 finger head that recedes to a thin fluff. The body is a hazy dark orange yeast cloud at the top, with a less hazy bottom of light orange.
T: Lemon and orange dominate. Banana, dark wheat bread, a (Noble?) hop edge on the back end, and sweet cloves are subtle.
P: Fluffy smooth. Medium mouthfeel.
O: This is incredibly balanced all around. It’s not the best weizenbock in my opinion, but it’s still excellent.

Delicious German Ale cloudy yellow color with rich taste from a traditional German 1 pint bottle. Nice rich taste typical of a German Village good anytime of year.

Bottiglia 33cl, comprata da grand cru rimini e bevuta a casa.
Chiara torbida con bella schiuma fine e persistente.
Corpo piuttosto farinoso,amara.
Me la aspettavo un po' più significativa, da riprovare
