Appearance is cloudy golden with a creamy white foam cap. Aroma is definitively weizen yeast, maybe more on the spicy clove side than banana. Taste is verrrry sweet with some clove, apricot, and hint of cinnamon, brown sugar, candi sugar. Mouthfeel is medium with a slight creaminess and nice carbonation bite. Finish is dominated by malty, sugary sweetness. Hops not a factor here.

0,33 l bottle. Murky pale orange in the glass, small white head. Some wheat and yeast on the nose. Taste is mid sweet fruity, followed by a more wheat sequence, some alcoholic hints. All in a smooth way with caramell. Enjoyed it a lot!

Bottel, hazy deep golden witha full off white head. Lots of mild wheat malt aroma and a little sour tang. Mild weizen flavors, wheaty and a touch of the classic Bavarian yeast character. Nice mild beer.

It pours nicely into a rich white head that has some staying power. It’s cloudy dark gold and has an aroma of banana and clove, that also carries over to the flavour. There’s a very subtle spiciness to it and it leaves a very pleasing aftertaste. Highly recommended.

0.33 l bottle from REWE Budnik & Homberg, bottled in November 2014. Murky, golden yellow with a huge, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Fruity-spicy aroma of banana, clove, honeydew, vanilla and citrus. Sweetish, fruity-spicy taste of banana, honeydew, vanilla, bubblegum and some clove, followed by a short, slightly sourish and minimally bitter, smooth-yeasty finish. Medium to full body, very smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Archetype-Weizenbock, great!

Bottle at MacCool’s in Layton. Golden color with a big fluffy white head. The aroma had lots of banana ester and yeast. The flavor was bold with a hint of spice and a touch of booziness. Pretty filling beer but the bold taste held up well against the heavy Irish dinner.
