Yellow colored, strongly hazy appearance. Medium sized lasting white head. Strong banana in aroma with mild alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is dominated by strong banana and sweetness, aftertaste has mild alcohol notes and wheat comes up. Medium carbonation. Too sweet for my taste, still quite refreshing weizen.

Slayer85 (1041) - Firenze, ITALY - AUG 20, 2007
Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a big but collapsing white head. The aroma is wheaty and has notes of banana. Not enough "bocky" taste for a Weizen Bock but quite sweet with banana and cloves notes. Medium to full body, quite long aftertaste. A nice beer.

faroeviking (10294) - FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 25, 2008
Bottle shared with Nosiriwont. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a big fairly well lasting white head. Aroma is sweet with lots of wheat, yeast and some banana. Good mouthfeel. Sofft and fresh wheat flavour with yeast, some sweetness, yeast and some banana. Good well lasting wheat finish.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2009
Bottle.
Pours a deep, cloudy lemon orange with an explosive aroma of banana and clove; litereally, after the bottle is opened, the aroma shoots into the nose. Flavor is a bit of a let-down, a watery banana finished off by blunt and boring clove. Nice mouthfeel. Overall, not too bad.

The aroma is great with banana, cloves, bubble gum, and wheat. The appearance is cloudy orange gold with a large foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a slightly bitter finish. The palate is quite thin. Overall a great beer but doesn’t’ quite seem to be a bock in style but then again maybe the alcohol is just well hidden.

Danke an Auxburg1986. Test vom 25.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,10,9,10,13,10

From the 25 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is an extremely heady hazy, pale yellow delicate carbonation bubbles. The head really lingers. Aroma of malty esters. The body medium and creamy. The taste is also solid on the malts with an almost tart finish.

Bottle:   Hazy straw with an orangish tinge, large foamy white head, spotty lacing.   Pale wheaty nose, slight breadiness.   Similar tongue, mild sweetness.   Compared to Aventinus it pales.   Decent, a little light in aroma and flavor, but still has a decent body.   Tiz okay, but could use a little more spiciness.
