500ml bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a thick fluffy head fairly light color for a weizenbock. The aroma consists of bread, cereal, toast, dough, and a little caramel. The taste is moderately sweet with little other tastes and a very lively mouthfeel. Surprisingly similar to a hefeweizen in appearance and aroma yet stronger in alcohol content.

This is good enough to pull me away from Erdinger, not to mention Hacker and Paulaner. Summer could be as hazy as the color of this beauty.

Cloudy light orange with a tall, fluffy, long-lasting off-white head. The aroma is fresh yeasty dough, banana, and spice. The flavor is lightly sweet with the banana and spice that were in the aroma. Creamy smooth body. Very nice.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy amber color bock with a large off-white foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of banana bread ester is just about perfect with just the right amount of residual sugar. Taste is also a near perfect mix of banana bread with sweet wheat malt notes and light cloves undertones. Body is pretty full for style with great carbonation. This is pretty close to style staple as I’ve tasted.

Immediately upon uncapping, the banana esters and Belgian wheat are present in the room. Wheat and coriander soon join the party. Bit of pear too. It’s a beautiful looking beer, with an unfiltered, almost pumpkin colouring to it. Tastes are very reflective of the aromas. The mouthfeel is surprisingly creamy. Very good quality wheat beer, that I would have no hesitation to buy again.

Pint bottle. Hazy dingy golden. A fluffy off white head. I smell hefeweizen aromas. Bananas and cloves and those are tasted. Some pepper and other spices. And then some yeast. This has all the markings of a classic. Not a fault to be found. But it is a weizen.

Cloudy orange colour, huge white creamy head, aroma of banana, clove, yeast, lemon and dough. Taste is light medium sweet, slightly sour. Medium body, oily slick texture, average carbonation. Very tasty.

50cl flaska. Dimmig gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Doft av vete, jäst och en aning citrus. I smaken tillkommer maltsötma och lite bubbelgum. Det senare är något jag inte uppskattar.

Standard bottle, poured into a weizen glass at ~40 degrees F. Appearance: Pours a deep honey gold, so cloudy one can barely make out the shadows of their fingers on the other side of the glass, and forms a pale just-off-white head which dies away rather quickly. Lacing is fairly pedestrian. Smell: Not unlike a wheat field near a mixed orchard of banana and pear trees bursting with ripeness, with bush-sized clumps of coriander and clove dotting the landscape. Taste: Starting cold, this is heavy with coriander, intensely orange and citric, with supporting buttresses of banana and bubblegum flavors. As it warms, the coriander recedes to being one of several small towers, alongside the banana and bubblegum, with notes of clove and faint pear. It still strikes me as almost more wit-like than hefe-like. Mouthfeel: Light, lively, bubbly, and refreshing. Overall: A darned good beer, if not quite up to the standard of their Brau Weisse for me. This feels less like a concentrated weissbier and more like a blend of one with a wit, but that’s hardly a bad thing in my book!
