Cask @ The White Horse Old Ale Festival. The pour’s deep brown with a tiny off-white head. The nose is berry, caramel, hints of grass and toasted malts. Bready, sweet notes. The taste is more fruity malts, notes of apple, some cinnamon. A bit bready. Woody finish. Soft carbonation. This is an easy drinker. Overall, quite nice.

Cask conditioned at Egham Beer Fest #13. Dark Chestnut with cream head. Smooth, malty beer, nicely roasty with a fullish fruitiness. A very pleasant Mild Ale and yes, quite northern in character.
