Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Darkish amber with white head. There is a deep, roasty maltiness to this, drying and bitter whilst remaining quite refreshing, a British leafy dry hop follows, supposed to be based on a Scottish 80/-, not really I reckon, but a good decent Premium Bitter.

Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks 5th Jan 2012 Pours as the description suggests and that is ruby brown. Malty and a little digestive biscuity but also fruity with a middling bitterness. This is very much in the mould of a Vale beer, sort of like a monthly special, its fine but not that exciting to be fair the style is probably not something that jumps out at me A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
