cask at cloisters ... deep brown ... thin off white head ... soft sweet toffee roast ... light dark malt nose .. sweet coffee broast ... some dark sugers ... just not working that well for me.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a beautiful ruby colour with a decent beige head. Aroma of caramel, toffee and Ovaltine with similar flavours. Nicely malty with a big Ovaltine and Weetbix hit. Lingering caramel with mild carbonation. I really enjoyed this, quite sessionable.

Cask @ Troon Real Ale Festival 2012. Medium brown colour, not much head. Roasted nutty vegetable malt aroma. Fruity malt flavour. Quite smooth. A decent but not outstanding new bitter.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2011 Cask @ 12th Ayrshire Real Ale Festival, Troon 2011. Copper colour, tan head. Nose is slight roasted malts, caramel, nutty and a bit of fruits. Flavour of light roasted malts, caramel, citrus.
