[500ml bottle, Appellation Wines, Edinburgh] Slightly hazy copperish amber beer, cream-coloured head. Sweet chocolate nose from the dark crystal malt, touch of roasted wood. Flavourwise, it reminded me of a crumble that has been left in the oven a bit too long – slightly scorched brown sugar, rich fruit, and spices. Caramel sweetness in there too. A very nice beer
