Cask at Bon Accord, Glasgow. It pours clear amber with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, grainy, cereal, light toffee and cracker. The taste is bitter-sweet, biscuit, toasty grain, earth and cracker with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad, just pretty basic.

500ml bottle picked up at The MicroBar and shared with Finn at our hotel room. Firm white head that laces well. Cloudy copper coloured body. Smell of grassy hops and pale malts. Restrained fruity taste with hints of caramel sweetness. Lightly dry bitter end. Soft in the mouth. Just alright (Manchester, 26.01.2013).
