Rune (7956) - Tromsø, - FEB 13, 2013
500ml bottle bought at The MicroBar in Manchester and shared with Finn. Close to clear amber coloured body. Decent head-lacing. Grassy hops to the nose joined by a bread-like touch. Blended taste of leafy hops, dried fruits and caramel sweetness. Rather sharp, but short-lived, bittering endnotes. Just alright (on the train from Manchester to York, 26.01.2013).

[500ml bottle, Appellation Wines, Edinburgh] Clear golden pour, decent white head. Nose is bitter, dry grass and citrus, but some caramel sweetness there – it reminded me of a Caramac chocolate bar, that creamy white chocolate aroma. On the taste, grassy citrus and lemon, some caramel. A nice bitter [28052012]

500ml bottle from Glen Park Hotel, Ayr - clear amber ale, frothy white head, orange / citrus hop aroma, the caramel malt comes through initially, but is overtaken by citrus flavour and a dry finish
