mwelsh13 (221), Maryland, USA Oct 19, 2008 22 oz bottle poured medium orange and cloudy. Decent hop aroma, but not noticeable what was going on. Same sour flavors as in the stout. doubleo (954), San Diego, California, USA Aug 24, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours orange/amber with a huge, crisp white head, sticky lace. Smells of vinegar and some hay with some hops as well. I smell Brett yeast? Tastes like a lambic as well. A bit of barnyard with some subdued astringent hops, a little sour. Medium body, vibrant carbonation. sloth (1540), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA Aug 19, 2008 Large tan head, retention is good as is the lace. Clear, orange gold color. Funky nose of scented liquid dish soap, sorta perfumey, light honey notes. Body is med/light, prickly carbonation, astringent feel on the palate. Perumey hop flavors, soapy, metallic notes, light maltiness. Finish is lightly sweet, astringent, errrph. Bottle procured in a trade with oldstylecubfan i do believe? Thanks Todd! tronraner (1476), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Jul 30, 2008 Bomber. Pours hazy brass color with fizzy off-white head. The aroma is lime, orange, and candy apple. The flavor is unpleasantly grassy with some cotton and apple tastes. There’s a weird chemical sweetness toward the finish that’s really turning me off. Some pine bounces around too. Not a particularly tasty IPA. chronictonic (365), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 27, 2008 Orange copper pour with a creamy white head. Sweet caramel and butterscotch flavors. Grassy hop flavor. IMHO, not a good IPA - even when we tried to compare it to more traditional UK IPAs. Strangely enough my wife, who hates hoppy beers, liked this one.
