>> Clear straw pour, spotty lacing. Again aerated, drained, lightly acidic body. Brighter lemon. Nose is sugar, habanero, honey. Taste is waxy bitter, mild soap, long grassy bitterness. Clean, aerated, drained palate, but easy to drink.

Bottle. Pours cloudy peach gold with white head. Nose and taste of wheat malt, sweet agave, old tropical fruit, banana peel and clove. Lighter medium body.

Bottle from Pacific Liquor: nose is somewhat sweet with a solid base of malts that also allow for a chance of spice or herbs in the faint background. The drink is mellow and extremely well balanced but the flavor is lacking with only a minimal taste of sweetness. The malts in this fall really flat and only suggest a hint of hay or grain wheat, and somehow I am unable to find any evidence of agave nectar in this. That’s too bad since this was my first beer recipe by Aztec Brewing and first impressions always stick with me.

Bomber. Highly carbonated wheat beer with a very tall foamy head. Sour skunky aroma, medium light body. Just ok.

Barreras (982) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - APR 4, 2013
Pours a slightly cloudy yellow color with a floral aroma. Taste is floral with a slight banana and clove flavor. Slight, minute bitter taste after the swallow. A crisp beer that was on tap in Old Town San Diego.

StefanSD (2136) - Lakeside, California, USA - NOV 7, 2012
650 ml bomber. Hazy yellow pour with a medium white head that soon recedes to a film. The aroma features some spent grains and banana. The taste is similar to the aroma; mixed grains, banana, and sour bubble gum. The palate is viscous and a bit oily slick and the carbonation is lively. Finishes medium in duration, dry and a bit sour. Overall: This might have been infected--something just tastes off.

Bomber. Rating #3. Light haze to it, kind of a dark gold color with a white head that clung to the glass pretty well. Sweet wheat aroma, a bit of agave as well. Kind of a soapy bitterness up front, followed by a little bready sweetness. (2546)
